The journey to overcoming drug addiction can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone. At ENSO Recovery, we understand the challenges of seeking treatment and are here to guide you toward lasting recovery with our comprehensive treatment programs in Augusta and Sanford, Maine.
Understanding Comprehensive Addiction Treatment
Effective addiction treatment addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of substance use disorder. At ENSO Recovery, we provide a full spectrum of care through medication-assisted treatment, intensive outpatient programs, standard outpatient treatment, case management services, mental health counseling, and MARR-certified recovery residences. This integrated approach ensures that each person receives the support they need at every stage of recovery.
Our Treatment Approach
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
For individuals struggling with opioid use disorder, our MAT program combines FDA-approved medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol with counseling. This evidence-based approach helps manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings while providing the support needed to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our IOP addresses substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions through structured group therapy sessions and life skills development. Each client receives a personalized treatment plan that adapts to their specific needs and recovery goals, incorporating evidence-based interventions that promote lasting change.
Outpatient Treatment (OPT)
Following IOP completion, our OPT program helps clients apply their recovery skills in daily life. This level of care supports individuals as they balance recovery with personal responsibilities, strengthening their foundation in recovery while transitioning to more independent living.
Recovery Housing Support
ENSO Recovery operates five Level II and III recovery residences certified by the Maine Association of Recovery Residences (MARR). In Augusta, we offer a men’s residence with 22 beds, a women’s residence with 13 beds, and a specialized two-bedroom apartment for clients in phase four of treatment. Our Sanford location provides gender-specific residences that create supportive communities for recovery. All our recovery residences accept individuals on medication-assisted treatment, ensuring inclusive environments that support sustained recovery.
Comprehensive Support Services
Our dedicated case managers work closely with clients to navigate local resources, access community services, and address practical needs that arise during recovery. This comprehensive support extends to mental health services, where specialized counseling helps address co-occurring disorders, develop coping strategies, and build the emotional resilience needed for long-term recovery.
The Maine Advantage
Seeking treatment locally in Maine offers distinct benefits for recovery. Clients can maintain connections with family support systems while accessing care, utilize local recovery communities, and benefit from the state’s natural settings that provide a peaceful environment for healing. Our locations in Augusta and Sanford make it possible to receive high-quality treatment while staying close to home.
Pioneering Treatment Access
ENSO Recovery leads the way in expanding treatment access across Maine. We were the first program to offer MAT in Maine county jails and continue to advocate for pre-arrest diversion programs. Through partnerships with local communities and support for state-wide treatment initiatives, we’re working to make recovery accessible to all who need it.
